Revisit

Since it's so slow at work, I decided to go through old photos. It's amazing how some photos I forget about, or I had previously set aside as 'unwanted'.

Kyle took these first 2.

I love when we randomly do the exact same face. That's when I see how much we are alike.

From 2 years ago! Her hair is twice as long now...

All the photos I took of these flowers came out gorgeous.

As I looked through all the hundreds thousands of photos I've taken over the years, it's amazing to see the differences. Sure, having a nicer camera helps, but my style or editing has really changed too. I can't wait to see how it will change in another two years!

p.s. I highly recommend creating your own photoshop actions! I wish I had done it earlier, because there are some edits I've done that I don't think I'll ever be able to recreate. But from here on out, my life just got 140% easier.

small moments with you

I'm spending as much time as I can with Kyle, before he leaves for 6 weeks. Yesterday we went to the airport to say goodbye to one of his friends who is going to Iraq for a few months. Driving in our airport is just... infuriating. Then we went to the art museum since I had free tickets from my work. Unfortunately neither of these things have photos, because I forgot my camera :(  Story of my life it seems! *must remember camera!*

I did take some photos of Kyle staining a dresser. Boring work, but fun to watch him ;)

His sunroom. I'm jealous of the fabulous lighting! If he didn't have roommates I'd be taking self portraits out here all day, every day...

p.s. I got a new tattoo! When it's all healed, I'll be showing it off, for sure.

1,000 Reasons To Be Thankful!

I've decided to start something new
for me.

Every day I come across things that brighten my day, make me smile, or that genuinely make me feel so thankful. I love recording them to look at on the few gloomy days I do have, as a reminder. Do here goes!

#1 Random moments with Lori, going back and forth singing every song we can think of that has the word dance in it

#2 Silly graffiti in the elevator that says, "Elevator, y u no go fast?!" With the drawing of the meme guy and everything

#3 When out of the blue, while driving home, I realize how much in love I am with the man in my life
